Chapin’s 88200A; 80-pound residential poly salt spreader is made to handle winter conditions. Designed to hold up to 80 pounds of your preferred brand of ice melt or halite. It’s easy to set up with the flip-up; U-shaped handle; adjustable gate dial; and baffles. The spiked auger break ups chunks; minimizing clumps and the 12-inch pneumatic tires give you support over icy and uneven driveways and sidewalks. Weather-resistant; blue poly hopper holds up to 80 pounds of material. Use the baffles to direct where you spread your product and the gate adjustments to properly set the spread amount. Recommended for use with salt; halite; potassium chloride; magnesium chloride and calcium chloride (small and pelletized particulates).
